Job Purpose

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations . The role will ensure effective procurement, production planning, inventory control, logistics, and vendor management to meet customer requirements while minimizing costs and maintaining high standards of quality and delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire supply chain operations including procurement, production planning, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure on-time delivery to customers by coordinating with production, quality, and logistics teams.
• Drive cost optimization through efficient sourcing, vendor negotiations, and lean inventory management.
• Monitor supplier performance and develop strong vendor relationships for consistent quality and timely supply.
• Manage import/export operations in compliance with regulations.
• Implement supply chain risk management strategies to handle disruptions effectively.
• Lead the team in ERP/MRP systems utilization for accurate demand forecasting and planning.
• Ensure adherence to Autoliv’s global supply chain standards, compliance policies, and sustainability initiatives.
• Report key supply chain metrics (OTD, Inventory Turnover, Cost Savings, Supplier Performance) to management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in supply chain management in automotive/manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, customs, and production planning processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical ability with a focus on cost, quality, and delivery optimization.
