Job Description – ADAS Head

1. Role Overview
BrenStone is looking for a highly experienced and visionary ADAS Head to lead the development, integration, and execution of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems across all vehicle programs.
The role requires deep technical expertise in ADAS technologies, strong leadership skills, and proven experience working with sensors, perception algorithms, and vehicle electronics.
The selected candidate will also be eligible for ESOP participation, ideal for professionals seeking long-term growth and ownership within the organization.
2. Key Responsibilities
🔹 Strategic & Technical Leadership
- Define the ADAS roadmap aligned with company strategy and technological advancements.
- Drive innovation in ADAS and semi-autonomous systems for current and future platforms.
- Oversee ADAS system architecture including sensors, ECUs, fusion algorithms, and perception systems.
🔹 ADAS Feature Development
- Lead development of features such as:
- Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Lane Keep Assist / Lane Departure Warning
- Blind Spot Detection
- Driver Monitoring Systems
- Traffic Sign Recognition
- Parking Assist & 360° View Systems
- Ensure seamless integration with vehicle electronics and communication networks.
🔹 Program & Team Management
- Lead cross-functional teams across hardware, software, simulation, and validation.
- Drive development cycles including requirements, design reviews, validation, and production readiness.
- Ensure timely execution of ADAS projects and achievement of technical milestones.
🔹 Collaboration & Supplier Management
- Work with OEM customers, global suppliers, and technology partners.
- Manage suppliers for sensors, ADAS ECUs, middleware, and software modules.
- Coordinate with R&D, manufacturing, testing, and quality departments for flawless product launch.
🔹 Testing, Validation & Compliance
- Define and oversee ADAS validation methods (SIL, HIL, MIL, track testing, field testing).
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards such as ISO 26262 and NCAP.
- Evaluate performance data and ensure high reliability and robustness of ADAS systems.
3. Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in ADAS system design, architecture, and automotive electronics.
- Hands-on experience with radar, lidar, camera systems, ultrasonic sensors, and ADAS ECUs.
- Knowledge of perception algorithms, computer vision, sensor fusion, and embedded software.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet.
- Experience with simulation tools and validation frameworks.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and project management abilities.
4. Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 12–20+ years of experience in ADAS development or autonomous systems.
- Proven experience leading ADAS programs in an OEM or Tier-1 environment.
- Prior experience in ESOP-driven roles or strategic leadership positions preferred.
